Below we answer the most common questions about staying at the Leo Apartments Miesbach, south of Munich.

Questions about booking

You can book our apartments directly online here on our website. The minimum stay is 3 nights. Please send enquiries for 30 nights or more to info@leo-miesbach.de

We will need your credit card details when you make your booking. You can only pay by credit card. Your card will not be debited until you check out.

Immediately after booking, you will receive a confirmation sent to the email address you have provided. Our partner Hotelbird will also send you a further email 3 days before arrival with information about the digital check-in.

The prices we show include the overnight stay, incidental costs (water, electricity, heating), Internet, use of the sports complex and VAT. They also include a weekly cleaning.

As well as the double bed, all the Executive Apartments have a sofa bed for 1 further adult. An extra third bed is possible in individual Business Apartments. Please send your enquiry concerning this to info@leo-miesbach.de

There are no cots, but you are welcome to bring your own cot with you.

There are no down duvets or pillows, and the apartments all have a wooden floor.

One apartment on the ground floor has a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

No, pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Questions on the day of arrival

The reception at Leo is not staffed. 3 days before arrival you will receive an email from our partner Hotelbird with information about the digital check-in. This takes place via the Hotelbird app or alternatively on the spot via the check-in counter in the entrance area of Building 1. You can then open the underground car park, the entrance and apartment doors with the QR code in the app or with the room card issued at the check-in counter.

Your apartment is available from 15:00 on your day of arrival.

Yes, the check-in counter in Building 1 is accessible at any time.

You will find a free parking space at the apartment building. There is also a chargeable underground car park available. You can open the gate to the underground car park after check-in, with either your room card or the QR code (see Check-In). An underground parking space costs EUR 10.00 per day, and is automatically charged to your apartment. You can reserve a parking space in advance. You are then free to select your space in the underground car park.

Miesbach railway station is 1.8 km away from the apartment building. There are taxis available there.

The hotel reception will be pleased to accept your post, and you can also collect it there. The Bayerischer Hof runs Leo and is just a few metres away.

Questions during your stay

Please note that there is no lift in either building.

Yes, you can use our free Wi-Fi connection in all areas of the building. You will be given the access details in the email from Hotelbird, 3 days before arrival. There are also 2 LAN access points in every apartment. Please bring a LAN cable with you if needed.

During longer stays, your apartment will always be fully cleaned on Mondays (including a change of hand towels and bedlinen). You can also book an additional cleaning (including a change of hand towels, excluding bedlinen) for EUR 40.00. Fresh hand towels can be obtained on request for EUR 10.00 per person.

On the 2nd floor of Building 1 there are a laundry room and a utility room, which you can open with your room card or with the app.
Laundry room: washing machine (EUR 2.50), dryer (EUR 2.50)
Utility room: drying racks, ironing board, irons, ashtrays.

Smoking is only permitted on the balcony or terrace. An ashtray for disposing of cigarettes can be found in the utility room on the 2nd floor of Building 1. If you do smoke in the apartments despite the ban, we will invoice a flat-rate special cleaning charge of at least EUR 200.00 or based on the time and costs incurred.

There is no restaurant at Leo. You will find a snack machine in the lobby of Building 1. There are an Aldi and a Rewe supermarket with a baker’s 300 metres away.

The use of the nearby Miesbach clever fit with a fitness studio, courses and a sauna is included in the price. You can hire a sauna towel at the sports complex reception. Please ask about the hire charge for this on the spot. There are changing rooms with lockers. Apartment: balcony or terrace, box spring bed, smart TV, wooden floors, underfloor heating; there is no safe.
Kitchenette: fridge with freezer compartment, hob, microwave, water heater, coffee machine with filter (excluding ground coffee), kitchen utensils (saucepans, frying pan, cutlery, glasses, mugs, crockery), washing-up liquid, sponge cloth.
Bathroom: walk-in shower, hairdryer, hand towels, toilet paper; there is no bathrobe.

There are a large number of cycle stands in the outdoor area. This area is publicly accessible, cannot be locked and also cannot be reserved. There are no rental cycles.

You can separate your paper, plastic and remaining waste in your apartment. In the outdoor area on the right near the entrance to the underground car park there is a refuse store with various facilities for sorting your rubbish.

Questions on the day of departure

Please vacate your apartment by 11:00 on your day of departure.

On your day of departure, please check out via the Hotelbird app or the check-out counter in the entrance area of Building 1. Please also post your room card into the letterbox provided there. Your credit card will now be debited with the total amount, and your invoice will then be sent to you by email.
